In therapy, we often seek solutions—ways to fix, heal, or move past our struggles.
But sometimes, the most powerful step isn’t fixing; it’s feeling.
We spend so much time resisting discomfort, numbing it with distractions, or
rationalizing it away. Yet, emotions aren’t problems to solve—they’re experiences to
move through. Grief, anger, loneliness, and uncertainty all have something to teach us if we allow ourselves to sit with them.
Instead of asking, “How do I stop feeling this way?” try asking, “What is this feeling trying to show me?”
It’s in that quiet space—where we stop fighting our emotions and start listening—that
true healing begins.
